We hope that you all had a wonderful summer. As you know before our school year officially ended we suffered a kitchen fire. Unfortunately, the fire took out our whole kitchen and caused us to temporarily close. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Many of you inquired about reimbursement for the days that the school was closed. The contract that the school shares with the parents does not provide any pro-rated reimbursement when such events occur. The policy and payment agreement states: Tuition payments are based on enrollment and are due monthly whether or not your child is in attendance. (Policy and Payment Agreement; Program & Tuition) Tuition and fees are non-refundable and is not pro-rated. (Policy and Payment Agreement; Refund) The board has also come to the decision that the school will not reopen for the upcoming academic year. We apologize for the late response and inconvenience in these matters.

As working parents my husband and I were looking for convenience as well as a loving and structured learning environment for our four year old daughter. Cambria Heights Christian Academy was our answer. From the convenience of opening as early as 6:30am to a curriculum that goes beyond basic reading, mathematics, and writing, the school was exactly what we were looking for. Our daughter was exposed to learning to play the piano and still takes lessons with Mrs. Johnson the music Teacher. Our daughter’s confidence and leadership skills as well as her love of reading were fostered and nurtured at Cambria Heights Christian Academy. One of my favorite things about the school was, it didn’t matter how early in the morning which was always 6:30am when I dropped my daughter, Ms. Patricia was always there with a bright and sunny smile to welcome us. It felt good and reassured me that my child was welcomed there.
Despite our efforts to provide Elias with cultural and academic experiences, our son was an unusually shy child before we enrolled him at Cambria Heights Christian Academy (CHCA). Upon entering CHCA the Mantra It takes a village to raise a child, was evident in the everyday interaction and participation of the students, staff, and parents. This school truly stands on the moral codes they advocate and implement in their curriculum. Parent, Jose & Samantha Menjivar.
CHCA is a great school. The children learned a lot that benefits them in the future. I highly recommend sending your child to this school. My son loved it and so will your child.
I want to thank Cambria Heights Christian Academy for helping my son with his social and academic development. With the support and guidance from the staff at CHCA, Lusanga has become a confident student. He is very proud of his class work that he brings home to show me and I am able to gauge his academic progress with his homework assignments. He plays well with other children and he understands the importance of sharing and taking responsibility for his words and actions. CHCA commitment to providing cultural enrichment with the holiday performances the children participate in, as well as the field trips, helps the students to become well rounded human beings.
